IATA has adjusted upwards its fare calculation basis to N325/$ from N306 last week.  This essentially increased a Lagos – London return economy ticket to N680,000.00.

Whilst, you get your head around the new fares, you may want to know that between June 2016 and 2017, the combined earnings of the world’s 100 leading celebrities was $5.15 billion.  Their aggregate income is equal to the GDP of Liberia, Gambia, Somalia and Lesotho put together.
